Our team of nearly three hundred people operate from four UK production and warehouse centres, which provide leading design and project management services. The ITAB organisation extends into seventeen countries, including China and the USA, where we deliver turnkey solutions to other global retailers. This role will include : * Analyse and interrogate MRP requisitions on a daily basis taking necessary actions to satisfy demand by a variety of methods to suit business needs across all product categories including indirect, i.e. waste, consumables * Place orders and progress/chase to ensure goods are available to meet quality, delivery and business requirements * Optimise levels of stock-holding and inventory investment to minimise inventory losses due to deterioration, obsolescence and other causes * Manage supplier day to day liaison and report areas of concern or excellence * Build and maintain partnerships with the supply chain overseas and in the UK, maintaining effective and regular communication * Maintain a close working relationship with the Strategic Managers ensuring that all aspects of supply, inventory and policy are discussed and agreed * Work closely to support internal customers and design engineers to source new and existing products to satisfy end customer expectation * Coordinate inbound shipments from both Asia and Europe * Support the RFQ process We ask: * 4-5 years' experience - preferably within a purchasing and project management or manufacturing environment * Ability to utilise effective negotiation and persuasion skills * Knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory management * Familiarity with production parts and supplier manufacturing processes * Good numeracy and analytical skills * IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. * Knowledge and experience of working and developing MRP systems * Experience with procuring from the Far East is advantageous We offer * Working within a professional team that fully dedicates itself to a common goal * ITAB values & way of working: ACT - Think Ahead, Think Consumer, Think Together Application and contact * Please note that our applications are handled ongoing throughout the process and we accept applications via our website or to HR.
