The Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) at Falmouth University is a vibrant, entrepreneurial and industry-connected hub for performers, technicians and managers in training. To help deliver our 2030 Strategy, we are now looking to recruit a Lecturer in Acting & Performance with proven ability to deliver effective actor training based on sound methodologies within a practical performance training context. It is desirable you will have experience teaching acting for screen and/or devising and working within company ensembles. You will also be expected to deliver core curriculum content in contextual performance studies lectures. The successful candidate will have good knowledge and an established practice in the field of professional contemporary actor training and performance with an established research and/or practice profile. You may also offer additional training expertise in the areas of acting for screen and/or devising in ensemble. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials. Assessment and Module Management will also be a key aspect of academic duties. You will have excellent communication skills and the commitment to design and deliver an outstanding learning experience for the students. You will contribute to our Outreach and recruitment initiatives.
