Job Description

CER Education Liverpool are working with a Liverpool Secondary School to recruit 2 Teaching Assistants for their Learning Resource Base to start in September 2020. The role is essentially an Intervention Support role and you will be supporting Year 7 - Year 9 pupils within the main subject areas including English and Maths. This will be full time and you will be expected to commit for the full term, possibly for the rest of the academic year. Due to the nature of the role, continuity and support for these pupils is paramount throughout their transistion into Secondary School, and for Year 8 and Year 9 due to the current school closures. Therefore we will only consider candidates that are willing to commit from the onset. You will ideally have experience of providing Intervention support to pupils at KS3 level. The ideal candidate will possess: * Experience supporting in KS3, specifically Year 7/ Yera 8/ Year 9. * Qualified to Level 3 Teaching Assistant * Prior experience within an intervention role supporting Maths/ English ideally * A valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this. * Two suitable references covering the last 2 years. * Commitment to the end of the academic year.
