About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Operations Manager with AWS experience to drive forward our Cloud strategy, inspire the Cloud Operations team to deliver at their best, and manage our global 24/7 support model. You will be excited to continue to build on our solid foundations while sharpening our focus in the right areas to deliver self-service, cloud migrations and adoption, as well as an embedded DevOps mindset. You will play a pivotal part in creating the right atmosphere to drive this, being hands-on where necessary, and pragmatic in your approach with a can-do attitude. There are a number of challenges ahead of us as we transform at pace. You are somebody who is motivated by the idea of taking on this challenge. Key Responsibilities * Strategic * Drive forward our cloud strategy built on AWS cloud services * Drive a DevOps mindset into all our teams including YBIYRI * Improve automation of our CD pipelines * Drive the building of automated deployment frameworks and Infrastructure as Code * Ownership of Cloud Services Roadmap * Operational * Collaborate with the global team operating with a 24/7 global mindset * Ensure appropriate levels of monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery are in place * Lead incident response and deliver root cause analysis * Ensure appropriate and timely reporting and communications to stakeholders * Own, drive and be accountable for cloud security by design principles as well as adherence to GDPR * Supporting Sales, RFP's, and Customer management * Managerial * Manage and develop the UK team including training needs * Championing Agile practises What we can offer: * 24 days of holiday/year * Private health insurance * Life assurance * Pension contribution * Gym allowance * Retail discounts * Cycle to work scheme * Fresh fruit daily * Subsidized onsite massage * Monthly Yoga * End of month Company drinks and pizza * Social committee events * Well being initiatives.
