Job Description
Occupational Therapist Opportunities 37.5 Hours per Week Monday to Friday. Salary: 24,000 - 32,500 dependent on experience Orbis Abbey Rose - Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire Closing Date ; Friday 12th June 2020 The Role To provide an effective occupational therapy service at Orbis Abbey Rose that is client centred, evidence based and meets the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the clients. To manage all service resources effectively. To take responsibility in planning and developing an Occupational Therapy service with a range of people, children and young adults, who have complex specialised needs in physical, self-care, communication, feeding, behavioural difficulties and sensory issues. To carry out routine interventions following aims set out in the EHCP. You'll also ideally have relevant work or life experience in a similar environment where you can apply your skills in this new role. We welcome applicants who have experience in Elderly care including Dementia care, Mental Health support, Learning Difficulties, Residential and Nursing Care. In addition, it would also be great if you have: + Registered to practice by HCPC. + Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy and experience of working in a residential educational home, sensory integration and autism + Full UK driving licence What's in it for you?
