Overview
Occupational Health Nurse – Cambridge – FT - £36k OH338 We are working with a large OH Provider to source an Occupational Health Nurse to work at a client site in Cambridge. The role involves health surveillance, safety critical medicals, treatments and general health promotion and wellbeing activities. Main duties of the role include: Consultation, clinical assessment & treatment, advice, education, medical assessments and drug & alcohol testing. Fitness to work assessments. Minor illness and injury. Health surveillance. First aid provision. Health promotion and wellbeing. Requirements of the role: Registered general nurse or qualification in adult nursing. Driving licence. Good clinical knowledge and expertise for interpretation of health screening / surveillance results. Knowledge of health and safety legislation. Good IT skills. Excellent clinical skills, including suturing and cannulation. Presentation skills, for delivery of group health promotion initiatives and health and safety meeting. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 8.00am-4.00pm. Salary is up to £36,000 per annum plus benefits.
