This is an initial fixed term contract for 12 months with a view to a more permanent position thereafter. Job purpose: Our Depot Compliance Manager is responsible for achieving and improving the scanning compliance on all Outbound legs from Depot to Courier and Inbound legs form Final Mile to Hub Working closely with Sub Depots, Process Managers and Field Regional teams you will be responsible for data analysis which identifies the failure point and most importantly delivering the solution to drive the on-time delivery of the parcel. About the Role: As our Depot Compliance Manager you will work in a newly created position where you will be responsible for demonstrating a true end of day number of what has been scanned out of your depot, receipt scanned into Sub depots and receipt scanned by couriers. Know how many parcels show as a deficit in the end of day numbers and work to understand where the parcel gap is and provide the solution to ensure those parcels are recovered and delivered. Identify and provide solutions to fix miss-sorts and misrouted parcels to ensure our customers receive their parcel. By working with your field compliance equivalent and your Process managers, ensure real solutions are embedded and maintained. This will be done daily using core MI systems such as Network Health and OPSOS to identify daily delivery performance to identify root cause for failures. Influence and educate the relevant Process Managers of the solution to implement and review through continuous improvement. Influence and collaborate with the Customer Services team and Regional Compliance Manager to ensure data accuracy, which will identify the driver of claims and enquiries, whilst agreeing and implementing the solution for the operation. You will report in to your Depot General Manager and work closely with the site Day Shift and Night Shift Manager as well as supporting our Area Compliance Manager to ensure that each region is working in a joined up fashion. And you will have Line Management responsibility for our Unidentified Parcel Operatives on site. Experience/Qualifications: Lean 6 Sigma or similar experience required Evidence of ability to devise new innovative solutions IOSH Qualified (ideally) Advanced in understanding of Management Information and Excel spreadsheets. Good Ability with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Demonstrate ability to understand cost controls, data reports, MI and KPI metrics.
