A very well established accountancy practice in Tring. My client has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager to drive forward their career and play a key role in promoting the overall sucess of the firm and have a positive impact in its continued growth. This role has a fantastic opportunity to become a partner within 1/2 years. Roles & Responsibilities of the Manager based in Tring: * preparation of accounts and tax computations for an existing portfolio of clients with turnovers of between £3 - £10 million; * carry out some accounts preparation work for smaller companies, partnerships and sole traders but will predominantly be involved in reviewing the draft accounts and working * assisting with the work allocation and management of deadlines of their overall portfolio and deliver the work required for this portfolio; * be confident in UK taxation and accounting; * maintain and develop the current client relationships ensuring tax efficiency and delivering commercial insights; * be able to run client meetings; * be a technical contact for client and team members aiding on accounting and taxation queries; * continue their personal and professional development through education, training and experience; * be able to train and develop staff on controls and procedures and in getting the best from their own resources; * be able, knowledgeable and competent on year end tax and accounting software (we use IRIS throughout the office), Word, Excel and Outlook; * undertake other reasonable business tasks as requested or required within the practice and actively participate in the activities and needs of the company * the ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified and have post qualification experience in a general practice environment for at least 5 years; What's on Offer? * £45,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience
