Overview
A very well established accountancy practice in Tring. My client has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager to drive forward their career and play a key role in promoting the overall sucess of the firm and have a positive impact in its continued growth. This role has a fantastic opportunity to become a partner within 1/2 years. Roles & Responsibilities of the Manager based in Tring: preparation of accounts and tax computations for an existing portfolio of clients with turnovers of between £3 - £10 million; carry out some accounts preparation work for smaller companies, partnerships and sole traders but will predominantly be involved in reviewing the draft accounts and working assisting with the work allocation and management of deadlines of their overall portfolio and deliver the work required for this portfolio; be confident in UK taxation and accounting; maintain and develop the current client relationships ensuring tax efficiency and delivering commercial insights; be able to run client meetings; be a technical contact for client and team members aiding on accounting and taxation queries; continue their personal and professional development through education, training and experience; be able to train and develop staff on controls and procedures and in getting the best from their own resources; be able, knowledgeable and competent on year end tax and accounting software (we use IRIS throughout the office), Word, Excel and Outlook; undertake other reasonable business tasks as requested or required within the practice and actively participate in the activities and needs of the company the ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified and have post qualification experience in a general practice environment for at least 5 years; What's on Offer? £45,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience
