Job Description

The Role We are currently seeking someone with strong network operations experience. The main role of the Aero Operations Manager will be to ensure that there is the appropriate operational support towards the customer and the end users. The incumbent will act as first level of escalation for Real-time operational issues and will be the main interface between airline maintenance and operational team. He/she should lead crisis management and be responsible for the appropriate internal and external communication, post mortal crisis analysis and damage control. You will be responsible of maintaining and organising operational review meetings and have responsibility of all the configuration and change modification requests. Work on the operational readiness of EAN. The role will require significant interaction within our core operations, the Aero Service Systems Support group and suppliers. This support shall ensure it is in line with the contractual obligations made to customers regarding service availability and end-user support. To Apply ü BSc/BEng in a relevant technical degree (satellite communications / telecommunications /IP Networks/) or relevant working technical experience ü Knowledge of ticketing systems ü Basic knowledge of airworthiness regulations would be advatangeous ü Ability to work under pressure ü Understanding of Digital Communications Networks: protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing, etc.) and architecture (routers, switches, firewall, etc.) ü Good PC skills with knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, Database programs and Web based systems. ü Must be able to communicate at all levels. ü History of being a team player and team builder ü Critical ability in order to set the right priorities in a complex environment ü Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. ü Positive and energetic attitude ü Capability to work autonomously as well as a self-starter and self-motivated. ü Honest, Respectful and Patient. ü Ability to adapt and change in a dynamic working environment.
