Job Description
UK PR Manager Working in the Firm's Marketing and Business Development team the successful candidate will be expected to deliver targeted, tailored and sophisticated media and profile-raising campaigns in pursuit of the UK practice's growth objectives. Building strong relationships with senior figures within AlixPartners and acting as a leader and coach are fundamental components of the role. Key Responsibilities * Translating AlixPartners business goals into communications strategies and plans and delivering them effectively * Growing the media profile of AlixPartners, its breadth of services and key individuals with UK business, sector and trade correspondents * Acting as spokesperson for AlixPartners on reputational and client matters * Coaching and developing Managing Directors, Directors and other senior personnel to be effective ambassadors and spokespeople for the firm * Developing thoughtful, media-friendly content and opinion pieces to position the firm appropriately in the UK market * Developing a network of communications peers in relevant trade bodies, clients and other organisations * Ownership and management of the firm's UK-focused social media channels * Day-to-day media relations activities Background and Qualifications * Cultural sensitivity and outstanding interpersonal skills * Excellent writing, verbal communication and influencing skills * Well organised and thoughtful * Capable of operating in ambiguous situations and providing clear, concise communications advice on a wide range of topics and issues * Outcome-focused * Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously * Committed self-educator with a clear understanding of the evolving world of communications * Seven - 10 years agency/in-house communications experience, including managing teams * Demonstrable experience in developing B2B communications plans and strategies * [Degree 2:1 or higher]
