Job Description

Job Title Portfolio Finance Lead Location Knutsford Support the business with financial analysis and commercial insight into performance of Strategic Investment, MTP Planning, controlling Gated Funding , prioritisation and acceptance of new demand in to the portfolio, through collaboration with Finance, Technology, Business Management and associated areas. Help drive improved specialist activity through tracking of performance of Strategic Investment and provision of financial management information. What will you be doing? Driving, influencing and implementing Strategic Investment processes and practices using financial and non-financial insight Providing thought leadership to the Delivery Assurance Director, Head of BUK PMO and BarclaysUK ExCo Providing tactical and strategic analysis to influence and inform short and long-term business decision-making Managing change portfolio cost base for the business through support of the Gated Funding Forum, Portfolio Investment Committee and MTP Liaising with functional partners to ensure efficient insight on SI performance and committed benefits Proactively identify areas for continuous improvement, including creation of efficiencies and strategic value-adds Working independently with support as required, keeping stakeholders informed and escalating any issues as required Collaborating with wider CIO and Portfolio Management teams, identifying and resolving any potential issues to enhance the data, processes and system solutions What we're looking for: Experience in driving, influencing and implementing strategic processes using financial and non-financial insight within a highly regulated environment Ability to link financial metrics to commercial decision making and macro-economic trends Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders with outstanding precision Skills that will help you in the role: Experience on an international scale preferred Proactive and self-driven, who has a positive outlook and is delivery focused Where will you be working?
