We are the current contract holders of the managed services contracts for the National Assembly for Wales, the Vision, Sound and AV Operation and Maintenance of UK Parliament , the Broadcasting and AV Services for the Greater London Authority and the UK Supreme Court in addition to a number of prestigious corporate bodies and Government Departments. Requirements Responsibilities * Answering the telephone, transferring calls and taking and relaying messages accurately as the first point of contact. * Scheduling; meetings, equipment, staff & freelancer contractors in numerous roles and locations. * Reactive rostering and communicating changes across the teams. * Forward planning, looking at and reporting trends. * Collating and issuing operational reports. * Data input, various systems. * Live logging (meta data marking) of Chamber business. * Booking travel/accommodation/couriers. * Raising purchase orders for freelancer contractors /equipment rental and consumables. * Raising estimates for events and purchases. * Sorting and allocating post. * Maintaining and ordering stationery supplies. * General office duties; keeping the office/kitchen area tidy, general day to day support and hospitality. Requirements * Attention to detail and a methodical approach. * Good organisational and problem solving skills. * Have excellent client facing skills - able to communicate at all levels: from End User to Senior Clients - whether by spoken or written word, telephone or email, good communication skills are essential to the success of this role. * Pragmatic, practical and results driven. Able to deliver in the face of varied and frequent challenges. * A desire to learn new systems and commitment to deliver superior service. * Enthusiasm to learn. * Calm working under pressure in a high profile environment. * First rate team member - keen to liaise with others and use initiative when supporting the team. * Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Outlook packages. * Maintaining punctuality and a smart appearance at all times. Wearing company or client uniforms if required to do so. * A desire to learn new systems and commitment to deliver superior service. * A mature and diplomatic approach. Benefits Commercial.
