Job Description
Our market leading Agriculture Team are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join the team in Bath or Bristol. Forming part of the wider team spread across Thrings' offices you will be supporting clients nationally; running a varied caseload of non-contentious matters. Led by Duncan Sigournay alongside highly regarded Neil Barbour the team provide bespoke services to clients including farmers, land owners, estates and Agri-businesses. You'll need to demonstrate to us that you have experience working on property related matters, ideally from an agriculture or commercial property background; if you've got experience of sale and purchase of rural or agricultural land then even better. You'll be a skilled relationship builder who will proactively represent the Firm to clients or at networking events. As a commercially focused Firm we need someone who can evidence that they have a good grounding of experience to meet the diverse needs of our clients nationally. Whilst experience within the Agriculture sector isn't a pre-requisite an affinity to the rural community would be of benefit to you. It is expected that you will have a variety of experience that enables you to run your own caseload with minimal supervision. We have become market leaders based on our ability to offer bespoke, expert advice, having the best interests of our clients at heart. We are the NFU's panel firm for seven counties in the UK; we also have strong links with the CLA, TFA, CAAV and other sector organisations. We increasingly work collaboratively with our teams internally across all disciplines and by building strong relationships internally leads to additional networks to help the growth of the team. The team in Bath increasingly are working with our colleagues in Romsey who serve clients across the South of England as well as the team's specialist litigators in Bristol and elsewhere. We're keen to hear from anyone who has more than 4 years post qualification experience and feels that they have the ability to help drive the growth and be a part of the wider team's success at Thrings. You'll be a part of the market leading team who have aspirations to grow and develop their offering further both within their current geographical areas and beyond.
