Sales Specialist - Telesales Basic to £18k, plus commission, excellent benefits The Company: Our client is a highly focused healthcare and biotechnology company providing diagnostic and screening services to the healthcare community, as well as genetic analyses and biomolecular tools/products to the life science research and pharma biotech sectors. They are looking to appoint a Sales Specialist (Telesales) at their Nottingham Head office. The Role: An integral part of the commercial team and a significant contributor to the sales strategy for our client. The role is to sell the entire product range of the Source BioScience portfolio mainly to the research academic and industrial customers in Europe and the USA (shift working will be required) using a range of different sales techniques. Working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (will include shift work). * To drive the sale of the portfolio of services and products in the USA and European markets * Increase the sales of the service and product portfolio * Identify and develop new prospective client contacts * Successfully oversee the sales-cycle * Successful generation, follow up and closure of sales opportunities * Gather and analyse industry trends within the Groups sales sectors in order to aid strategy development * Provide feedback on client requirements to improve sales and marketing * Monitor competition activity and report regularly on pricing, and market visibility * Work alongside customer service and operations teams to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction * Utilize, maintain and update the customer database routinely The ideal candidate will have: * Previous Telesales experience and/or a scientific background would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given. * Fluent in English. * Good IT skills including MS Office, Excel and Internet.
