2nd Line Support Engineer Mold 28,000 ShortList Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to work within a technical support team in Mold. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic help desk analyst or support analyst who wants to join a busy, exciting team, in a business that has ambitious future plans. Typical responsibilities for the 2nd Line Support Engineer will include: Taking escalated calls from customers around the UK Remotely accessing customer environments to carry out detailed fault diagnostics Providing excellent levels of customer service at all time Travelling to customer sites as required for planned meetings or project work Running daily checks on backups and carrying out preventative maintenance on customer environments Preparing and building customer equipment as required Completing small projects as required, including researching and testing new products and technologies The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will have prior experience in a busy help desk environment and have commercial experience in areas such as: Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Windows 10 Office 365 VMware and Citrix administration Network fault finding and diagnostics Network cabling and patching Backup technologies Experience with VOIP The working hours for the 2nd Line Support Engineer role are 8:30 to 5:30, Monday to Friday and a company vehicle will be provided for any client visits, which typically occur once per week. There is no requirement for out of hours or shift work. The salary on offer for the 2nd Line Support Engineer is up to 28,000 and provision of company vehicle as required. This position is based in Mold and is easily commutable from Wrexham, Chester, Llandudno, Denbighshire and Shropshire.
