Senior Healthcare Writer FRONTERA London Frontera London are a creative communications agency working in healthcare. We are passionate about putting the patient voice in everything we do and delivering communications that drive change. We currently have an opening for a Healthcare Writer with a science background who has a conceptual and creative approach, but can translate scientific data into engaging communications for patients and healthcare professionals, applying to integrated multi-channel solutions. You will have a passion for expressing human endeavour through powerful storytelling, whilst remaining true to the science. You will be expected to form a working creative partnership with a Senior Art Director, and to take ownership of allocated brands, and craft beautiful communications that put our clients' brands in the hearts and minds of their audience. Who you are * You are a creative at heart, with a passion to create change * You have experience within a creative and/or communications healthcare agency environment * You have 5+ years' experience of writing engaging communications in healthcare * You will have a passion for expressing human endeavor through powerful storytelling, whilst remaining true to the science * You are confident with managing multiple projects at the same time * You are efficient and reliable, with excellent attention to detail * You thrive in a creative environment and work well with under pressure * You are passionate, pro-active, self-motivated, positive and a team player * You will ideally have a background in degree-level (or higher) science, preferably with a medical focus * You possess excellent writing skills, and experience in writing for different audiences * You have excellent attention to detail * You have the ability to work independently and within a team * You understand the fundamental difference between medical writing and creative scientific communications (we are looking for the latter) * You have experience of partnering with an Art Director (or similar) to create conceptual ideas What you'll do You will be expected craft creative concepts and to write everything from core claims and key messaging documents to video scripts and captivating advertising headlines. Specifically: * Creative work You will work with a writer and be expected to answer challenging briefs with thoughtful and compelling concepts * Brand ownership: You will be expected to own and manage designated brands Who you'll do it with You will work with an experienced senior art director, and you will be supported by the creative director and managing director, and will be expected to build good working relationships with fellow creatives and account handlers, as well as other agency colleagues and clients.
