Service Manager
Overview
Job Description
The service manager is responsible for ensuring the complex care needs of the residents are met and high quality of care is being delivered. You must have your NVQ level 5 or QCF level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care) or proven extensive experience in relevant field. Have proven track record of building, motivating and leading a highly effective team. Take a management perspective with an open outlook and willingness to work across boundaries. You will create an environment which enables residents to pursue their hobbies and interests, supporting them on a one to one basis or in group based activities, alone or with other staff if required. Arrange and facilitate Person Centred reviews for those using the service, and contribute towards review meetings held by other organisations as required. Actively promote an environment whereby individuals are enabled to provide feedback that is used to continually improve the quality of the services. Ensure the promotion of the health, well-being and safety of disabled children, young people and adults in all activities in accordance with scopes policies and procedures, and if concerns arise, to respond and address the issues immediately.
