Our client is a successful, long established, leading, local furniture retailer. Right now, they are looking to welcome a Furniture Sales Consultant to their team in West Cumbria. The perfect candidate will have already had a proven track record within furniture sales, be a high achiever able to deliver a consistent sales performance. Your new job * Using your persuasive skills and influence to move sales forward * Seeking out opportunities for making new sales * Direct contact with the public * Guiding customers and helping them to make the best decision in selecting their furniture * Represent the business in a positive and helpful manner * Approaching customers as they enter the store and helping them * Answer any questions the customer asks * Suggestive selling based on customer requirements * Closing the sale * Maintain customer records * Paperwork relating to sales and after sales RequirementsAbout you * Previous experience within furniture sales * Positive and focused * Ability to identify sales opportunities * Confident and self-motivated * High achiever with a proven track record of consistent sales performance BenefitsSalary and benefits * Basic Salary: 17,000 - 19,000 plus overtime and individual commission on all sales * On target earnings of 24,000 to 30,000 per year * Permanent job - direct with the employer * Pension scheme * 28 days holiday per year * Staff discounts * Long term career opportunity within a secure and stable organisation * Genuine career prospects (you could reach management level within 12 months)
