Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud ad hosting) to join either our London or Henley-In-Arden office and will also work on projects in client locations. Working as part of a team you'll be responsible for designing, creating and supporting Azure cloud hosted environments using modern approaches such as automation, infrastructure as code and containerisation. What you'll be doing: Work with internal or external teams to deliver projects & cloud hosted environments using a DevOps methodology Administer & support cloud hosted environments and associated technologies such as VMs, VNETs, Load balancing, VPN, Cloud PaaS services. Automate environment creation using Infrastructure as code (IAC) Certificate management DNS management Patch and security management Monitor and maintain live services to ensure service availability Defining and maintaining security best practices ensuring GDPR and ISO requirements are met. Defining and maintaining cloud backup and DR strategies Configuring and maintaining any on premise hosting where required What we're looking for: Proven experience of Microsoft Azure, configuration and implementation of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services Demonstrable approach to Security and Compliance management Identity management e.g. MS Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Exposure to DevOps Automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Scripting for automation tasks using bash or PowerShell Provision, support and administration of both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems Good understanding of Network topologies Experience of other cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud platform. Working knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker & Kubernetes Experience of working using an ITIL framework Working with SQL databases, backup, restore, data extraction Knowledge of Agile development methodology Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development concepts, methodologies and tools Administration and support of Hyper-V virtualised environments e.g. Nutanix
