Job Description

This is a varied and creative marketing production role, where you'll find yourself working as part of a small department of three employees, which includes Head of Marketing and a Marketing Assistant. It is important that you are able to work with initiative, manage your workload and prioritise effectively. You'll also work effectively with the wider sales team, building strong relationships with other departments, and delivering commercially sound, marketing assets to deadline. Please note: Some travel may be necessary from time to time, and could fall outside normal business hours. Responsibilities as Marketing Executive * Administration and development of three WordPress sites, maintaining updates, Search Engine optimisations and production of new web pages and blog posts * Creation of new landing page experiences for use on marketing campaigns, PPC and other advertisements * Email marketing campaigns * Grow the company's online traffic * Lead/demand generation as well as the tracking and reporting of lead metrics * Social Network updates and administration * Reporting and analysis of marketing KPIs As Marketing Executive you will contribute to the overall strategy and support of the marketing department, including: * CRM management * Assisting with trade shows and conferences * Market analysis and intelligence gathering * Write, develop and proof read content and communications * Competitor research * Track performance of marketing campaigns, deliver marketing metrics reports and share analysis during marketing meetings * Compiling of sales reports * Attend trade functions, events and other company sponsored social activities, which will require out of hours commitment * Explore new and innovative methods for the promotion of the company and its message * Liaise with external agencies * Management of merchandise production * Involvement in the creation and delivery of sales documentation including proposals, pedigree documents, presentations and product literature * Production and art-working of visual assets for communications purposes, including web, social, offline/print * Copywriting for proposals, advertisements, newsletters, Candidate Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have some graphic design / art-working experience. We'll need you to demonstrate the ability to lay out a well-designed page. You will also have a strong sense of the discipline of marketing. B2B/Services marketing experience would be advantageous. You should also have experience in digital marketing including CMS/website management, content, copywriting, blogging, social channels, demand generation, PPC and search engine marketing. Essential Skills: * PPC, SEO and email marketing experience * Strong communication, eloquent copywriting, immaculate written English * Knowledge of marketing principles and understanding their application * Knowledge of segmentation, profiling and targeted messaging * Working knowledge of Wordpress and website administration. Some HTML/JS/CSS would be useful * Visually competent with good understanding of design best practices and layout skills * Experience in email marketing and best practice copy writing techniques * Experience using CRM systems * Experience of Adobe InDesign, Lightroom and Illustrator * Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite * Digital Marketing qualification would be advantageous * Presentation skills * CIM courses and Qualifications a plus Employment Type: FULL_TIME
