Job Title: Cloud & Virtualisation Specialist (Private Cloud Support) Location:Radbroke Barclays are hiring an experienced Private Cloud Support Specialist within Global Technology Infrastructure Services (GTIS) Department. Private Cloud Support Specialist, based in Radbroke, with a direct reporting line to the Private Cloud Service Management Operations Lead (based in New York). Accountability for 3rd level operational support relating to the global Private Cloud estate If this sounds of interest, please read on! What will you be doing? Current knowledge and expertise in VMware ESXi 6.5 and above, VMware vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation, vRealize Operations, and other VMware products. VMware Certified Professional preferred. PowerCLI, PowerShell, and/or Python or similar coding skills with ability to use such tools for the benefits of Automation preferred. Working knowledge and demonstrable experience of supporting MS Windows and/or RHEL on virtual platforms. Exposure to Linux. HP, Dell, and Cisco UCS server hardware technologies. Experience working with ServiceFirst a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. What we're looking for: Experience providing support for VMware vCenter and VMware ESXi 6.5 and above. Experience in enterprise size financial organization preferred. Experience with PowerCLI, PowerShell and/or Python or similar coding skills. Skills that will help you in the role: Knowledge of HPE and Dell EMC server hardware. Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux. VCP6-DCV Certification strongly preferred Experience with Nutanix, VMware Cloud Foundation, VMware vSAN, or any other Hyperconverged Solution. Where will you be working?
