Job Description
OverviewAs a Consulting Systems Engineer (SE) at Pulse Secure you will be responsible for being an expert in the Pulse Secure portfolio of secure access solutions. You will be responsible for creating and delivering demonstrations of the products, gathering information on technical requirements, helping manage a successful evaluation of the products and supporting your MSSP sales counterparts from a technical perspective including price quotations. Our portfolio is used by industry leaders across verticals such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, Federal and State/Local governments, as well market segment leaders across SMB, Midmarket, and Enterprise.Your Impact + You will need to be a solution architect with thorough understanding of the entire Pulse Secure Portfolio. + Through understanding of the entire portfolio and solution, drive the technical sale of the Pulse Secure portfolio to new and existing customers + Collaborate closely with the sales team to maximize coverage while supporting customer demos, handling technical due diligence from customers and partners. + Own the technical elements of the transaction through the entire sales cycle + Provide technical support and own the RFP + Develop long-term relationships with customers, through managing and interpreting their requirements, and be the key point of contact for pre-sales advice while focusing on upsell and cross-selling existing customers post-sale, to provide a cohesive customer experience + Work with Pulse Secure product management to understand and document customers? requests for feature enhancements + Ability to take a strategic viewpoint on decision related matters with a comprehensive understanding of the product. Your Qualifications + 15+ years of experience in related software or networking industry with at least 10 years as a customer facing SE selling into large enterprise and MSSP accounts + The ability to bring previous and build new client relationships and partnerships + Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model + Experience with the MSSP or Large Telco Carrier marketplace + Comfortable with travel up to 50% or more + Relevant engineering degree (CS / EE / InfoSec) or equivalent industry experience + Experienced understanding of firewall, SSL VPN, NAC, mobile security, cloud-based services, Windows AD, MDM, Apple iOS, Google Android. SSL VPN is a strong plus + Experience with Authentication services, Active Directory, SAML SSO, virtualization, firewall, and overall enterprise security architectures would also be preferred
