Midwife - Triage/Midwife Led Unit Are you an experienced Band 6 midwife passionate about normal birth and looking for development? An opportunity has arisen for a Core Band 6 midwife to join "Rushey" our Midwife Led Unit and Triage Team. We are a small, friendly and enthusiastic team that aim to create a comfortable, safe and homely environment supporting and empowering women and partners during the birth of their baby. The applicant with be responsible for the day to day running of the Midwife Led Unit and Triage area; promoting safety and excellence by being the clinical expert on shift, coordinating care and liaising with the multidisciplinary team. This will require excellent leadership, managerial and communication skills. There is the expectation for the applicant to work flexibly across the Intrapartum Teams to meet the needs of women in the most appropriate birthing area.
