Sharp Gaming is based in Manchester City Centre and stems from the gaming division at Degree 53. The platform is still in development and we are recruiting talented individuals to help bring our vision to life. Due to our successful growth, we are now looking for a Performance Test Lead to join our team. What will I be doing? You will be the leader in Non-Functional Testing within the Business Systems area, being able to influence stakeholders to adopt the best Non-Functional Testing practices.Also, you will be fully responsible for end to end NFR testing including Performance and Operational Acceptance Testing and an expert in the creation of Performance Models for our Gaming and Betting platform. Your day will consist of: * Taking full responsibility for the prevention of production incidents about non-functional requirements you will provide Root Cause Analysis for issues that occur in production, ensuring they do not happen again. * You will monitor, manage and enforce quality gate processes to prevent defect seepage into downstream test processes or production * You will review all non-functional requirements that are passing through the area to ensure they are clear and testable and ensure test requirement tractability and coverage. * You will work closely with the test leads/teams across other technical areas to ensure non-functional tests are covered early in the SDLC as part of Shift Left testing. * You will use Monitor key metrics to drive decisions and initiatives around test process for continuous improvements * Continually assessing tool usage in the test function to ensure optimum performance you will work with the tools team to drive improvements and change where necessary * You will be an integral player, taking ownership of quality across the agency to ensure that all our deliverables are of the very highest quality. About You We are looking for a positive, proactive person who can lead by example and motivate team members to increase their productivity and efficiency. You will be working closely with members of all QA teams and scrum teams to achieve Non-functional Testing business goals. You should have a desire for problem-solving and have a continuous feedback and improvement mindset. You will own performance testing area and be responsible for the line management of a few people and will report to the Head of QA. Previous experience as a Test Lead or Senior Non-Functional Tester More than 5 years' experience of Performance Testing and Modelling Strong background in software integration and system testing Proven background in Performance Testing Experience of testing using JMeter, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium and Postman Experience using Azure DevOps, HP QC/JIRA, or comparable platforms Experience of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Kibana and other A Degree or equivalent degree in computer science, information technology Exposure to programming languages JAVA, C# and HTML Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries An excellent communicator, both verbal and written Hard working and willing to go above and beyond to continuously improve personally and to continuously improve the people you lead Love working as part of a team and collaborating with others An interest in troubleshooting and problem solving Someone who goes above and beyond to ensure we deliver high quality solutions to our clients within the planned timeframes Experience or knowledge of gambling products is a bonus What's in it for me? * Competitive Salary * Monthly team lunches * Generous referral bonus scheme * 25 days holiday a year in addition to bank holidays * Flexi-time (start anywhere between 7.30am -9am - whatever suits you best!) * Company Pension Scheme * City Centre Office space with a cosy breakout area and Wii U and PS4 consoles Employment Type: FULL_TIME
