Job Description

What you will do In our business we have a team who have a "passion to protect what matters most" Put your CCTV and Access control skillset into practice by troubleshooting and providing connected breakfix support via direct access to customers systems. Provide triage service for all CCTV and access call types, providing detailed information for the attending engineer enabling greater first time fix capability. Remotely monitor and operate customer sites to identify system performance issues and advise on corrective action. You will use your knowledge of networking to help expand our range of connectivity methods and apply to our base of customers across UK and Ireland, creating 100% connected customer base. A customer focused mindset will ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout interactions with our customers. How you will do it Technical Troubleshooting and monitoring of CCTV/ Access systems through remote access. Provide front line first time fix service for customers. Document events thoroughly utilising appropriate software and system tools. Maintains and interrogates customer site logs. Reporting on critical alarm statuses, providing root cause analyse and corrective action. Provide technical remote support to CCTV/Access field-based technicians. Utilise strong CCTV/ Access knowledge to identify system deficiencies and provide recommendations on improvements, including attending onsite client meetings. Remotely diagnosing system problems, providing corrective action and remote support for attending engineers. Responds to alarm conditions per department procedures and protocols Performs other duties as assigned. What we look for Required Previous experience with Door control/ CCTV/ Access systems is essential. Understanding of the fundamental technological concepts, principles and techniques, as used in local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) Sound knowledge of how switches and routers are configured to provide network services An understanding of how IPv4 addresses are used by routers and how this facilitates network design Ability to analyse available information in order to configure network devices such as switches, routers and firewalls Possesses analytical and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Demonstrates proficient oral and written communication skills and must be able to multi task efficiently. Demonstrates customer service orientation. Able to fulfil various security and background check obligations as required for customer contracts or local licensure. Preferred Previous experience in a remote technical support role is desirable but not essential
