The department Distribution is responsible for the marketing, promotion and ongoing development of our product offering, for both institutional and intermediary channels globally\. Distribution is a trusted partner to our clients and we enable investment solutions through active management\.Areas within Distribution consist of Sales, Global Marketing, Global Product and Investment Trusts\. Overview of the role You will work closely with a Senior Product Specialist to support the fixed income platform and serve as the primary champion and subject matter expert for an assigned set of products\. Working closely with investments, distribution and marketing, you will be responsible for product messaging, competitive analysis, product training, and investment updates\. You will be responsible for retrieving and analyzing data, managing monthly and quarterly processes to ensure timely updates, and supporting the broad Product Specialist, Product Marketing and Portfolio Construction Services teams on an as needed basis\. As Senior Product Analyst, you are responsible for supporting a global business model across intermediary and institutional distribution channels\. Duties and responsibilities You will: + Serve as a key resource for Product Specialists and other internal teams in running regular and ad\-hoc reports and providing support across all products as needed, with primary focus on fixed income\. + Build and support asset class and broad product lineup messaging using data to create compelling proof points that are supportive of sales and marketing efforts + Conduct research and data analysis to identify competitive opportunities and provide detailed competitive analysis + Provide and manage data for the completion of monthly and quarterly reporting and proactively seek opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and team efficiencies + Craft and articulate product stories and messaging for a specified product set to differentiate products and set performance expectations including marketing language, RFP content, pitch books and web messaging + Position products across institutional and intermediary distribution channels by providing internal training around pertinent product features and benefits and performance updates + Proactively identify product marketing opportunities based on industry trends, current market environment and competitive advantages to promote products and help drive sales + Carry out additional duties as assigned\. Supervisory responsibilities + No Technical skills and qualifications + Data interpretation from sources including: Bloomberg, FactSet, Wilshire, Morningstar Direct, Zephyr and other resources + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA preferred + Fusion or similar sales training preferred + Series 7 and 63 required within 3 months of hire + CFA, or progress achievements toward CFA, preferred + Strong computer skills including PPT, Publisher, MS Word and Excel Competencies required In addition to putting clients first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include: + Fixed income product experience with a global asset manager or manager research experience + Ability to craft stories and articulate product messaging + Ability to assimilate complex and varied market data into a timely case for product investment + Experience presenting to an internal audience, one on one and larger groups + Ability to drive ideas from concept to completion through efficient project management and execution + Solid verbal and written communication skills required + Ability to set goals, manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and drive results + Strong knowledge of institutional, adviser\-driven, platform placement and/or insurance distribution channels + Strong analytical, organizational and problem\-solving skills Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed, in line with applicable regulatory requirements, by: + Annual performance appraisal + Completion of all assigned compliance training Compliancerequirements At a minimum the role will require you to: + Place the interest of Janus Henderson's Clients first, act in accordance with TCF \(Treating Customers Fairly\) principles + Understand and follow laws and regulations applicable for your role, seeking the help of your supervising manager or Compliance if additional guidance is required + Understand and abide by all Janus Henderson policies applicable to your role, and see
