Lite Access are working with us on contracts to deliver full fibre access to homes across the East of England and CityFibre are supporting them in finding a Fibre Supervisor. Working closely with the Build Manager, youll be responsible for maintaining productivity objectives and managing gangs on site for FTTH Fibre installations, including any subcontractors. Youll also be: * Running full H&S audits on site, ensuring compliance to NRSWA legislation * Managing the day to day health and safety on site * Conducting Toolbox talks * Capturing and documenting all changes to design, liaising with Commercial teams in relation to compensation events * Co-ordinating, capturing and presenting the financial sign-off for the completed works by the Sub-contractor to the Fibre Manager * Updating daily and weekly reports, reviewing them against the project delivery milestones, highlighting any risks that may have arisen to the Fibre Manager * Ensuring all post installation documents are completed and checked in accordance to the conditions of the project, including test results and as-builts WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Youll have a strong technical understanding of fibre optic networks gained through working in other similar utility industries, experience with FTTH/FTTP and a good working knowledge of permitting and noticing procedures, including registrations. Youll also have: * Familiarity with splicing, testing and blowing * HSEQ Aware * CSCS/ECS card * NSWRA * Knowledge of industry regulations * A hands-on approach in order to influence a positive culture and mind-set throughout the workforce * Pro-active and self-motivated with a solid work ethic, consistently achieving goals and meeting deadlines * Full Driving License * Ability to travel throughout the UK
