The Implementation Consultant is a hybrid business and technical consultant that works alongside our new clients and partners as they transition into ExactTarget software system. Responsibilities include: technical, marketing and business related requirements gathering as well as the effective management of a cross functional services team and successful solution rollout. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and associated business processes as well as experience in managing a technical engagement from inception through final deployment. Responsibilities: * Lead consultative engagements with marketing focused business teams to define and implement their technical and business related communication needs. * Present solution focused summaries of ExactTarget architecture and integration capabilities * Deliver an actionable framework that aligns a client's business needs to that of the ExactTarget Solution * Manage multiple client engagements and the associated team members - maintaining 80% chargeability rate * Monitor productivity, scheduling, staffing, and budgets to ensure completion of projects on time and within budget * Identify project issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve * Promote customer advocacy and reference-ability Qualifications: * Knowledgeable of business related software systems (CRM, POS, CMS, SFA, etc.) * Excellent strategic, business & technically focused analysis * Experience in leading complex projects with minimal oversight * Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and switch quickly between tasks. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional client interactions / presentations. * Ability to consultatively engage with customers and to make quick, complex decisions * Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment * Experience with relational databases and web-based applications a plus * Knowledge of Internet development technologies (HTML, XML, Web Services, web development tools, etc) a plus * University degree plus five years business experience (technical or business consulting preferred).
