Please note that we are recruiting for a Futures Analyst or a Senior Futures Analyst, based on experience and the best fit with our team at the time. Please apply for either role, not both. This is A key role within our Futures team. Pearlfisher Futures is unique within the Pearlfisher business in terms of its future insight and innovation driven approach, and the opportunity to inspire new streams of commercial growth that it brings to our clients? challenges. We need you to Champion and grow the Futures offer within Pearlfisher. This is a key role requiring the highest level of Inspiring communication skills / Natural curiosity / Creativity / Presence You will show us that you have + An independent and team spirit, keen to take advantage of the Futures team?s international stance and seize the opportunity to evolve within the company. + The ability to identify and harness business development opportunities within your client base. + A talent for seeing the patterns inherent in insight and data, and the ability to understand, distill and confidently express what these patterns could mean. + A proven track record in planning, performing and analysing qualitative consumer research and expert interviews. + The ability to choose the right methodology for our research and continual development of creative and innovative research techniques. + A keen interest and understanding of brands and consumer behaviour across a range of categories including food, drink, sport, healthcare, fashion, design, technology, finance, entertainment. + Demonstrable experience of interrogating and challenging briefs to ensure consideration of all influencing aspects based on research. + A loyal and trustworthy character. The bare minimum we need from you is A minimum of five years? experience working within insights and innovation. An understanding of key channels of communication including product, retail, digital, advertising, brand experience. Strong written and visual skills. And the technical skills we?d appreciate are MacOS / GoogleDrive applications / MSOffice The role in detail Working independently and alongside the Futures Director ? Global, you will: + Understand and interpret key cultural, category and consumer shifts to create meaningful, unique, pioneering and provocative future focused insight, ideas, innovation and Pearlfisher intellectual property. + Evolve and build the Futures insight and innovation offer and its process. Work with us to explore and build the current approach and continually reinforce its effectiveness. + Define, create and deliver client projects at a high level, working with the selected team but owning them from start to conclusion to deliver a finalised piece that delivers on the agreed brief and proposal. + Develop new project structures, research techniques and gather insights from all types of research including partner agencies, articulate key findings and build a compelling argument for change relating to client objectives and opportunities. + Create new, creative and compelling ways to communicate the information and debrief final deliverables depending on the audience and environment. + Guide the innovation process from workshops to presentations. Lead these projects, end to end working against multiple deadlines. + Guide the team on the innovation journey, whether working on both individual briefs or in collaboration with the skills of the other two studios, Strategy and Design. + Develop new opportunities through attending new business meetings and being an active member of the pitch team. + Collaborate with the Client Management team to develop opportunities, deliver on time and within budget and work with them to respond to client correspondence where necessary. + Collaborate with the Strategy and Design studios to deliver to our clients? needs across a broad range of projects, including design and strategy briefs. + Proactively develop and share our unique perspective. Feed our global IP, sharing information effectively across the Pearlfisher studios as we grow the Futures offer on a global basis. + Work with the global Comms team on content and opportunities including social media posts, thought pieces and speaking opportunities, to build both Futures and Pearlfisher?s profile. + Adhere to Pearlfisher Compliance principles when creating all support material and internal and external briefings and presentations. Ensure that Pearlfisher Compliance principles are understood and are being followed by your team during the project process. Reporting structure You will report directly the Futures Director ? Global. The role will also involve close consultation with Business Development, Marketing & Communication, Client Management and all other Pearlfisher teams.
