Job Description

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION Work as part of a multidiscipline team developing an internal tool for parameterized designs. This would involve developing the existing database of instrument block assemblies and writing the specific design rules governing the automation of each. The role involves working with each of the stakeholder projects, liaising with the discipline leads and getting feedback to ensure alignment & project buy-in. ESSENTIAL SKILLS * Experienced in the various aspects of Instrument & telecom design including: * Layout production (field, equipment room, control room) * Cable routing and termination design * Bulk MTO's (cable, tubing & fittings, junction boxes etc.) * Production of relevant Instrument design deliverables (termination/loop diagrams, hook-up/Installation details etc. * Instrument cats & specs * Experience with multi-discipline working and understanding their interface requirements * Good communication & team working skills, with a pro-active attitude. * Familiarity with workshare and dealing with remote operating centres. * Proficiency in the following software tools: * 3D modelling software * 2D draughting software * Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) PREFERRED SKILLS * AVEVA PDMS/E3D * AVEVA Paragon/Draft/Draw * COMPCON (desirable) * AutoCAD * SPI
