Senior IT Systems Administrator - Leatherhead (Surrey) - UK Who we are! Based in Leatherhead, Surrey, this is a hands-on technical role within the Global Network Infrastructure team. Therefore, you should possess a broad practical skillset that includes routing, switching, wireless, information security and physical infrastructure. You should also be willing to travel within the EMEA region (if required), and hold a UK driving license (ideally with your own transport), as the Network Infrastructure team support a number of UK Project sites and Datacentres. The Network Infrastructure is predominantly Cisco, but also includes Riverbed Steelheads, F5's, Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls. Supporting a broad range of technologies, projects and environments the duties will include: * Help to diagnose/troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN, information security issues. * Design, implement, and manage the Network infrastructure. * Interface with Projects and IT teams. * Interface with vendors and suppliers of services - (Telco's, Hardware suppliers, Maintainers). * Manage / oversee infrastructure deployments. * Perform Software/Firmware upgrades. * Maintain the CMDB and operational support documentation. * Work with the Change Management process. * Be prepared to work out of hours (if required). * Participate in the (paid) On-Call Rota. IMPORTANT NOTE: UK Security Clearance will be required to support some aspects of the UK Network. KBR will coordinate any clearance applications.
