Role Summary: The Data Analyst is a vital member of the BHGE team, as this role is responsible for the production of pipeline inspection reports delivered to clients across the globe. Delivering high quality, accurate technical reports based on thorough analysis is the cornerstone of PII's business and is integral in ensuring the safe operating of oil and gas pipelines around the world. Although the skills required to be a fully certified Data Analyst in the Pipeline Inspection industry are developed over time, the ideal candidate is a persistent problem solver who enjoys data intensive, analytical work. This individual must be process oriented, as adherence to industry standards is required, and should also be deeply committed to quality and accuracy at a highly detailed level. Additionally, those most successful in this career tend to be adept at managing workloads and resources, team approach, and have the ability to communicate well with others in their immediate work environment. Data Analysts are ultimately responsible for the organisation and control of pipeline inspection data, comprehensive analysis of that data, and for facilitating the on-time delivery of the Pipeline Inspection report to clients. In certain cases, this will include post-report client support. Essential Responsibility Achievement of industry certifications allowing for full scale data analysis + Flawless execution and on-time delivery of dataanalysis + Knowledge of data preparation and processing + Pipe-book production, fitting and defectidentification, fitting and defect classification, and AGM assessment andinclusion + Integration of any supplementary data + Application of client profiles to organise andreport In Line Inspection results + Identifies quality or productivity issues andpotential solutions + Report to various levels of management onproject milestones + Data preparation, processing, assessment, andconfirmation of acceptable data + Interpretation and quantification of signaldata + Detailed defect sizing assessment + Training, coaching and mentoring newer analysts + Ensuring the consistency of work for otheranalysts, when acting as the Lead Analyst on a specific report + Pre and post report client support; includinginvolvement in Client Presentations + Identifies quality or productivity issues andpotential solutions + Effective utilisation of resources to meetreporting time scales and budgets + Provision of pre and post-sales support servicefor reporting information + Preliminary and Final report production + Qualitycheck of pipeline listing and report content Qualifications/Requirements: Educated to high school level with science and/or mathematics content + Detailed, analytical, processorientated approach + Ability to drive issues to arobust closure in a timely manner + Excellent interpersonal, communicationand facilitation skills + Stronganalytical/experimental/statistical skills DesiredCharacteristics Effective Problem Solver Detail and Process Oriented with deep commitment to quality Ability to persevere during periods of high work volume Drives for results and ensures deliverables are met Composed with the ability to work well with others to meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment Locations: Cramlington, UK This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organisation Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
