Life, non life, reinsurance undertakings or intermediaries must keep pace with new requirements to ensure compliance but also remain competitive, profitable and a the same time ensure highest quality client experience and delivery. The challenges are numerous and do not reside only within the Luxembourg borders. Inherently open, the Luxembourg players often operate cross-borders, and must ensure the compliance of their operations and products to multi-jurisdictions' regulatory, legal and tax rules PwC Luxembourg is pooling talents dedicated to help its clients to meet these challenges. As an Experienced Senior Manager within our Regulatory and Compliance Advisory Services department, your mission will include (and not be limited to): * Analyse existing and new European and Luxembourgish regulations to determine the impacts on (re)insurance ecosystem's stakeholders ((re)insurers, intermediaries, banks, assets managers and custodian banks etc. ; * Define and structure relevant service offering (together with other competencies where relevant) and ensure active go-to-market and marketing; * Analyse or coordinate the analysis of the impact on the strategy, business models and operations; * Manage cross functional regulatory projects (involving tax, legal and regulatory experts) aimed at ensuring compliance withe new requirements; * Conduct ad-hoc regulatory research and follow-up on changes to ensure that clients and internal are informed; * Participate/organise external conferences and events to promote PwC's capabilities and credentials to the market; * Manage, coach/grow and review the work of your team members and ensure business is running in a smooth way. Your Profile * Higher education in Business Administration, Finance or Tax / Legal with a sound knowledge of insurance (life at minimum, intermediation and non life is an asset); * You have at least 8 years' experience in the insurance sector in a project management role; * You have a sound knowledge of the current and upcoming regulatory challenges for (re)insurers and intermediaries; * You have a genuine and deep interest in business development and have developed a strong presence and network within the insurance sector, and financial services industry at large; * Proven experience in structuring, leading and delivering transversal projects (incl. with cross border teams); * Experience in developing and deploying projects best practices, policies, procedures, and processes; * Ability to be persuasive, encouraging, motivating and to be a challenger at all levels of the organization; * You are fluent (both oral and written) in English and French (German is an asset); * You have excellent analytical and communication skills; * You have good knowledge of common IT tools; * You are capable to meet tight deadlines.
