Lead Developer We're hiring! * * Aon are currently recruiting a Lead Developer to join our team in Epsom. The Lead Developer will be primarily responsible for the architecture of an existing actuarial calculation engine and supporting front/back office tools. About the Role Your impact as a Lead Developer: * working closely with stakeholders to define product roadmaps; * collaborate with product owners, business analysts and users; * defining, implementing and evangelising software development best practice; * experience in a virtual scrum team and mentoring colleagues; * responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. About you Your knowledge and expertise: Essential Skills: * C# .NET Development experience * Architect/lead developer experience * extensive experience of SQL Server including design and TSQL; * Ability and willingness to work with multiple languages, applications and frameworks simultaneously; * Excellent communication and technical writing skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business; * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
