Job Description

**Title:** HR Generalist Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, processes and procedures designed to attract, retain and reward employees to, and in, the Sellafield PPP Programme, including KBR's Project Controls and Commercial Services (PCCS) workstream, in alignment with overall programme strategy. Provides interface to all HR personnel from KBR and Partner Teams. Provides leadership and direction to the KBR team deployed as part of the PPP and PCCS Programmes. **Responsibilities** Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: + Establishment and maintenance of the PPP standards, requirements and procedures for PPP-wide human resources activities for allocated workforce + Coordinating with Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4 Partners to ensure that all related work products are prepared and completed in compliance with the PPP standards and requirements. + Supporting the identification of PPP resourcing requirements, and supporting the recruitment and training of the appropriate personnel to build and maintain a competent team + Development, management and delivery of the KBR and PPP Project inductions and the leavers process for all workers on the PPP Project in support of Lot 1 (incl. PCCS) and the wider PPP Programme + Establishment and maintenance of the PPP Project library of role specifications in conjunction with functional leads + Liaise with Managers and the Lot 1 Resource Manager regarding their resourcing requirements and provide guidance and support in recruitment activities. + Provide support to the Recruitment team during times of high activity + Draft job descriptions, determine job grade level and remuneration packages for roles + Conduct competency based interviews and assessments based on established criteria + Support to the deployment and re-deployment of Employees into and out of the PPP Project and ADTs + Coordination of the ongoing training demands from head office, as well as working in conjunction with the PPP training team to deliver project specific schemes + Liaise with Managers regarding their resourcing requirements and provide guidance and support in recruitment activities. Administration of the candidate identification and selection process including conducting interviews + Provide guidance regarding the interpretation and application of Human Resources policies and procedures whilst keeping abreast of current employment law issues. + Assist Management in managing or counselling personnel with performance, personal issues or discipline problems of overseas based personnel. + Provide advice to Management and oversee disciplinary actions, including investigation of allegations of misconduct, developing letters of allegation, disciplinary hearings, appeals and grievances, and drafting and safekeeping of related letters and documents + Where necessary, support TUPE processes, changes to contract and additional staff on boarding + Support to development and delivery of Site-Wide Improvement Initiatives that require HR / Resourcing functional support + Initiate approvals for amendments to salary and staffing positions, ensuring that appropriate approvals are received from budget holders. + Dealing with Work Permits and the right to work in the UK + Support collaboration and behavioural training and development + Provide link back to KBR Corporate HR policies and personnel management including annual appraisals, objective setting and career development + Support worker diversity and anti-discrimination policy implementation + Ensure that all records relating to engagement and pay matters are processed correctly and retained for internal audit and compliance purposes. + Assign and oversee the work of the subordinate staff, train and develop the team and manage the annual performance appraisal process + Any other related duties requested by management **Qualifications and Experience** The role would ideally suit an individual who has already obtained a reasonable level of "all round" HR Generalist experience. The incumbent must be robust and be able to work in a fast moving and demanding environment. This position would suit applicants who have had previous experience in a large commercial business or Major Project with structured HR processes and policies. There is a requirement to obtain security clearances issued by Sellafield. **Key Competencies** Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to build rapport quickly with HR team members and key stakeholders within the business experience of supervising a team and developing subordinate staff would be advantageous Recruitment for UK based assignments An ability to understand the strategic and operational context of our business Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure CIPD qualified or part-qualified is desirable but not essential Proactive and self-motivated approach Excellent IT skills- including Microsoft Office, Workday, Sharepoint and SAP Good worki
