As you can imagine our Buying department is certainly kept busy, which is why we are looking to bring in a Junior Buyer to support our branded Buying Manager. Someone that enjoys being analytical, can collaborate and communicate at all levels, both internal and external. Someone who can spot commercial growth opportunities, gaps in product ranges, future trends, source new star lines and brands from around the world!. Additionally, negotiate and generate the best commercial arrangements and JBPs possible that we can therefore pass back through to our customers. About the Person: We are looking for an ambitious, analytical, courageous individual, who is eager to develop their skills in Buying. Working collaboratively is what we are all about here at Mamas & Papas, with this role being no exception - the Junior Buyer will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure KPI's for sales & profit are met, so organisation is key and someone who can be strategic with their recommendations. An understanding of the retail industry is certainly key for this role, with knowledge of consumer buying and brands being advantageous, but what's key is adaptability, attention to detail and not being afraid to try new things!
