Hostess - Bupa Care Homes Competitive excellent benefits Canning Court 8:30AM-16:30PM shift About the role * To be responsible for the provision of meals and drinks to residents who attend the dining room and those residents who stay in their rooms. * Ensuring high quality food presentation. * Providing the highest level of customer service. * To provide refreshments outside of meal times to residents, relatives and other visitors as and when it is required. * Ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy and presentable at all times. Who we're looking for As someone with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and experience in a customer facing environment, you understand the importance of high standards. Confident, enthusiastic and with great people skills, you should be able to communicate effectively and empathetically with a range of people, including those with communication difficulties What's in it for you? Located in a peaceful, residential area of Stratford-upon-Avon, the home has secure landscaped gardens and is equipped with the most up-to-date facilities. As part of its specialist dementia care service, Canning Court takes every opportunity to provide memory triggers, which include reminiscence activity areas and memory boxes. A beautiful sensory garden boasting many scented and colourful plants enables all residents to stimulate their senses, or simply sit and relax in the open air.
