GENERAL DESCRIPTION Under direction from the Global Automotive Business Development director, the Automotive Business Development Manager is responsible for: + Sales leadership and profitable sales growth targets within Automotive\. + Proven ability of developing successful business development strategies to increase market penetration\. + The proper implementation of the L3HARRIS Automation global sales strategies and initiatives\. + Management of the key relationships at senior level with critical customers and business partners within the region\. + Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures\. Qualifications KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Functional \(Sales\) + Drives and manages selling products, solutions and services to increase Automotive market penetration and market share, assures market coverage and provide the appropriated customer focus and support\. + Responsible for the implementation of sales and marketing strategies specific for the country, as a subset of L3Harris global strategies, to ensure that annual operating targets are met, and long\-term growth goals are achieved\. + Drives the execution of growth initiatives and proactively supports vertical industry activities\. + Monitors and analyzes sales activities and takes appropriate actions to meet region sales targets\. + Effectively manages resource requirements to opportunities and match skills to business needs\. + Facilitate and promote sales teaming between L3Harris Divisions and countries for multilocation accounts\. + Builds relationships with senior levels at key L3Harris Automotive customers and actively engage in the sales process as required\. + When part of the market access plan collaborates with CDR's to increase market penetration, assure sales coverage and provide appropriate customer orders fulfilment\. + Ensures adequate reporting and ensure proper utilization and update of the sales and customer relationship management tools\. \(i\.e\. Microsoft Dynamics\)\. + Ensures adequate account planning\. + Supports and collaborates with Marketing organization with planning of sales and commercial actions\. + Support and co\-ordinate activities with other L3Harris Automation resources i\.e\. Bids & Proposals\. + Promote and manage effective communications with all the above\. Business + Collaborates with the Sales Director in drafting an annual budget for the country/regions, and when approved implements, monitors and achieves targets\. + Maintain awareness of competitive strategies and activities, and market trends as well as their impact on local business for L3Harris Automation\. + Leverage and share best practices between countries and Sector\.
