This will occur through delivery of client engagements and contributing to the capability of the firm. * We help you build a tailor-made career to suit you as an individual, with targeted on- and off-the-job coaching and training to help you grow on a personal and professional level * We count on you to contribute to building and developing a world-class consulting team dedicated to the success of both national and multinational organisations * We enable you to develop an international professional network, tap into our a global network of 223,000 specialists, more than 2,500 colleagues in Ireland * We support you in your personal growth through attractive career opportunities, stretch assignments, as well as through interdisciplinary collaboration within our company * You'll work with the best teams to add value for our clients on challenging national and international projects The types of assignments our Operational Effectiveness Team has recently worked on, include: * Designed, developed and implemented a new operating model for the energy business division of a large Irish commercial semi state as part of major transformation programme to respond to market changes * Completed a review of operations and designed a target operating model for back office functions of major retail organisation following an international acquisition * Redesigned the target operating model for community based services in the Irish Health system to support aging population and increased service capacity requirements at community level * Designed, planning and implemented a new operating model for core business functions following integration of two multinational FMCG companies, across over 30 European markets * Supported the integration of four third level institutions in the Higher education sector, enhancing the student academic offering. * Developed and implemented a new operating model for a new organisation in the airport management sector. What We Expect From You Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in some or all of the following business transformation related areas: * Operating model strategy, design, and implementation * Organisation design and development * Business transformation strategy development * Operational reviews and improvement programmes * Business change readiness * Data capture and analysis to identify opportunities for transformation, documenting conclusions, and providing recommendations on transformation * Feasibility studies and business case reviews Essential skills required * 8+ years total experience - including consulting experience from a professional services, advisory or internal consulting environment * Client focussed and commercially astute * Excellent understanding of leading business practice * Project / programme management experience * Strong business analysis and problem solving skills * Adaptable and with an innovative approach to their work * Can effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with different audiences * Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and report writing skills * Educated to degree level Essential experience required * Experience of working with large scale operations and on transformation programmes in industry and / or in consulting roles * Leading projects to deliver results for clients within agreed deadlines and budgets * Experience in managing teams of resources on multiple assignments running simultaneously * Continually managing client and internal stakeholder expectations * Overseeing and delivering formal and informal reports and presentations * Leading, preparing and presenting compelling proposals for new client work * Coaching and mentoring team members to achieve project and career objectives * Recruiting talented professionals to grow the team * Developing practical thought leadership articles and publications * Driving ongoing business development to grow the operations effectiveness practice Other experience - desirable * Business transformation and or / operating model development experience from the public sector, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, consumer or FMCG sector * A relevant primary or advanced degree e.g. engineering, management, MBA or equivalent * Formal project management qualifications e.g. Prince2 Edu
