Job Description
Process C&I Engineer - Pirbright - GU24 0NQ Competitive with 25 days annual leave, excellent pension and other company benefits. Role Purpose This position has the responsibility of providing manufacturing support of current processes and process improvement initiatives as well as providing support to Capital projects: Act as subject matter expert for controls and instrumentation Facilitate changes to existing production and utility processes Act as change control owner for equipment and improvement projects. Develop skills in specific control disciplines Responsibilities Act as subject matter expert for controls and instrumentation: Managing C&I software revision control, batch data integrity and user access administration, specifications and backups Managing C&I hardware standardization and obsolesce management Assist defining Calibration & Validation procedures and criteria to assist Calibration & Validation Technician carryout their duties Designing and developing new control and data acquisition systems Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems within projects and maintenance Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, quality standards, PUWER and functional safety Writing computer software and test procedures to support the sites Validation Master Plan (CSV) and Installation and Operational Qualification. (QA Validation will manage the process but requires technical support) Facilitate changes to existing production and utility processes: Accountable for installation, commissioning, start-up of new equipment and changes to existing equipment. Assist validation of new equipment and changes to existing equipment including document generation. Lead improvement projects, continuous improvement projects, and equipment improvement projects (expense projects).
