Overview
Job Description
To support the wider marketing team with their day to day duties, which will include but not be limited to assisting the Conference & Events Exe in the planning, implementation and tracking the success of our global events, ordering and managing stock of brochures & promotional items, assisting with advertising and e-marketing schedules etc. This role will give the successful candidate a broad insight into all aspects of marketing and support any further education in this specialism. + Assisting with events and customer entertainment for AJW and including the registration of attendees, booking of hotels, catering and other stand requirements, such as electricity. Arranging any logistics, coordination of staff participation, + To work with the marketing team in order to maximise events participation across and via all marketing channels + To work closely with Sales to ensure post event follow up on leads and to ensure contacts made are uploaded within the database + Assist with the collation of a comprehensive post-event report detailing activities, expenditure & leads along with the provision as to the effectiveness and measurement of the return on investment + Events are global and could require some overseas travel + Assist with sales campaign, digital marketing, as well as liaising with publication to ensure the provision of artwork for our advertising schedule. + Responsible for the stock control of promotional items and brochures + Flexible and willingness to support the team + Proactive and self-motivated with a "can do" attitude + An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines + Willingness to travel if required + Ability to communicate with staff and external bodies + Interest in marketing. Willing to study the CIM Certificate (Chartered Institute of Marketing). Applicants must qualify for entry and commence studies in Oct 2016.
