Job Description

Role Summary: The 24/7 UK Service Support Engineer job will perform the following two roles: 1. GlobalSONDEX Subject Matter Expert (SME) 2. UK-based 24/7 ServiceSupport Engineer (24/7SE) Both roles provide direct support to the Field Operations, Product Development, Direct Sales, Supply Chain, Central Product Line Management, Training & Development teams. Essential Responsibilities: As the Global SONDEX Systems and Services - SME: + Respondall BKR field operations service support requests related to SONDEX systems andservices, regardless of how they are submitted + Provideon-demand technical support to the BKR technology centers on SONDEX operationsaspects + Supportthe resolution of applications or geoscience SONDEX systems and servicesrelated issues + Supportthe resolutions of issues related to supply chain and manufacturing of SONDEXequipment + Supportthe Product Manager and Product Champion in development projects and new SONDEXservice deployments Qualifications/Requirements: + Extensiveexperience with the planning and execution of wireline jobs that include theuse of SONDEX logging and well intervention tools + Formaltraining in the operations and applicability of SONDEX logging and wellintervention tools + Fullyproficient on the English language + Proficientuser of computers and MS Office software + Majorexperience in the oil and gas service industry + Collegeor equivalent degree on science or an engineering discipline or equivalentknowledge or experience + Preferablywith long international assignments history + Preferablewith a degree or formal training on reservoir engineering subjects Desired Characteristics: + Willingto work flexible schedule and travel at short notice + Self-drivenand capable of prioritizing tasks/time/travel + Goodcommunicator and presenter + Capableof working alone as well as in small teams Locations: + Farnborough,UK This is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization Baker Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
