Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Information Technology (IT) Management Level Manager Job Description & Summary Your tasks * As part of our new cloud operations team, you help to reshape PwC's cloud service offering for internal and customer-facing applications. You take a leading role in defining governance, operational and organizational processes. * As an engineer, you define and implement blueprints for standardized modern application environments based on MS Azure services. You implement highly available and resilient application architectures based on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS. * You ensure reliable and efficient operational processes that make our cloud platform ready for business critical applications. This includes onboarding of new applications and helping corresponding project- and application teams to implement and operate their applications efficiently and with highly automated processes for deployment, change- and lifecycle management and monitoring. * Where required, you coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners, e.g. PwC global cloud teams, PwC CH application- & project teams, external vendors & suppliers. * You ensure that technical documentation is available and drive operational continuous improvements. * Where required, you are involved in the incident, change & problem management process (ITIL). Your profile * You have a higher-education degree in computer science (HF/FH) or comparable practical experience. * You have multiple years of experience with Microsoft Azure, for example a) using Azure Active Directory (AAD) services for authentication, b) integrating multiple services (e.g. for compute and storage services) into an application, c) managing secrets using Azure Vault. * You are passionate about automation and have worked with corresponding technologies on Azure: a) scripting (PowerShell, maybe Bash, Python or Perl), b)deploying cloud resources using Terraform (maybe also with Ansible or Puppet), c) monitoring Azure application infrastructures on system- and application level (maybe using tools like Elastic/Logstash/Kibana). * You know your Kubernetes and have successfully implemented complex applications that are based on container architectures and deployed using CI/CD pipelines. Ideally, you have specific experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and Azure DevOps. * You have worked with (and want to learn more on) using cloud technologies in a complex regulated environments. This includes dealing with compliance and governance of applications that need to comply with Swiss legislation in the banking and finance sector. * You have a "can do" attitude and welcome new challenges.
