Incisive Media has an opening for a Business Development/Account Executive to join the team. This is an exciting role within a dynamic team with excellent opportunities for quick progression. The role will focus on developing Investment Week's relationships to sell sponsorship across our events and awards portfolio. There is key emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management and negotiation. We are looking for an Account Executive with a minimum of two years experience of account management and business sales in a similar type of company to work on the industry leading and award winning Investment Week brand. This position is a customer facing role and offers a consultative sales approach. This role is an autonomous role and would suit someone who is able to manage and prioritise their own workload. You role will focus on developing Investment Week's relationships to sell sponsorship across our events and awards portfolio. With over 40 Investment Week events and two major awards you will be an integral part of the team. You will need to be proactive, efficient, organised and interested in people. There is key emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management and negotiation. You will have the opportunity to attend all relevant events and awards representing your brand. + Communication skills; including oral and written communication, negotiation, telephone and effective listening skills + Interpersonal skills; being able to work well within a team as well as working independently to deadlines, be pro-active, goal-orientated and be able to use own initiative + Organisational skills; be motivated and a quick learner who's able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload. Good administrative skills and attention to detail are necessary + Establishing multi-level contacts within your client base, who will vary in size + Using sales skills and techniques to sell and increase revenue and market share + Some previous experience of presenting is useful + A positive and enthusiastic approach to your work + Team playing qualities whilst remaining competitive in a shared goal + A good work ethic As well as working with the most interesting, talented and fun people in Media, we operate a culture where success is recognised.
