Responsibilities As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above * Train and lead staff * Establish effective working relationships directly with clients * Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen * Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues * Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients * Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with engagement teams (financial assurance and/ or risk assurance) in performing the following tasks: * Data management * Data optimisation * Data validation and cleansing * Script writing (e.g., ACL, SQL) * Dashboard design (QlikView/ Qlik Sense, Alteryx or other well known BI tools) * Clarify engagement team instructions if and when necessary to gain a better understanding of the scope of work to be performed. * Communicate clearly and frequently with engagement teams on the status of their work requests and/ or any challenges encountered. * Demonstrate thorough knowledge of database concepts and design, normalisation and optimisation of data structures, ACL and SQL scripts. * Understanding of accounting ledger and sub-ledger applications to interpret and requests and reconcile data is a definite advantage. * Having a proven track record of success with operating in a professional services environment or large enterprise as consultant.
