Job Description

Title: Procurement Lead Sellafield Ltd awarded a 20-year contract to four organisations in May 2019, which will help deliver the site's decommissioning programme, with KBR acting as the Integration Partner. The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) has been developed to help make the Sellafield site safer, sooner. The new approach will support the transformation of the company from a nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation and is one of the most complex portfolios of construction projects in the world, stretching over many decades. KBR Ltd is playing an integral part in the delivery of PPP acting as the Integration Partner, leading on the delivery & controls of numerous multi-million pound construction projects. Now is your chance to be part of this vital work, a once-in-a-career opportunity working as Procurement Lead. Role & Responsibilities + Utilise the robust Sellafield standardised processes and procedures, and the agreed bespoke contractual procedures. + Deliver efficient and highly productive services recognising the constraints of the nuclear environment. + Support the sustainability and development of the Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management Services. + Have capability and agility to accommodate a varying workflow whilst maintaining continuity of service provision and the ability to respond to future changes in service demand, e.g. the impact of new technologies and changes in governance process and procedures. + Ensure robust and secure information channels are developed, and maintained, to improve communications of et al performance reporting, key commercial issues. To provide support to include but not limited to the following as agreed from time to time: - + Framework Agreement Management duties + Undertaking commercial audits ensuring actions are closed out to agreed time lines, utilising CEMAR as the main tool, with lessons learned captured and embedded in the wider DDP + Review of key contractual documentation ensuring alignment and consistent use across the DDP and making recommendations for improvement + To work with broader DDP teams and Lot Delivery Partners to identify tangible commercial and delivery opportunities and ensuring opportunities are captured and invested in appropriate strategies and where appropriate achieved + Contribute and support robust contract administration and associated behavioural change in DDP and the SL Management Team to deliver the identified DDP Business Case benefits, this will include challenging 'custom and practice1 where appropriate + Pre contract administration and support of tender documentation development and issue. + Agreeing Work Order/Purchase Orders, evaluation and certification of monthly interim valuations Skills or Experience Required: + Strategic thinking and strategy development + Working knowledge of NEC3 contract suite and contract management practices and procedures + Use of CEMAR + A knowledge or understanding of CTM + MS suite of office applications Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 KBR is a global provider of differentiated professional services and technologies across the asset and program lifecycle within the Government Solutions and Energy sectors.
