Procurement Manager

A heavy fabrication company in Carlisle is currently looking for a Procurement Managaer who has extensive experience buying Metals. The successful Buyer or Procurement Manager will be working within the commercial unit where they will overseeing the purchasing of goods and services for the business. Responsibilities Include: Ensuring the business obtains quality materials & products for competitive prices Understand engineering supply chain and life cycle expectations Ensure obtaining materials and products in a timely fashion Ensure the business adheres to budgets and operates profitably. Achieve cost reduction, Continuous improvement. Attain the best outcome for the business with no risk to quality. Skills required: Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Experience buying specialist metals Our client is looking for an individual who has extensive knowledge and experience buying metals witin an engineering environment.
