Responsibilities As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above * Train and lead staff * Establish effective working relationships directly with clients * Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen * Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues * Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients * Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand Activities to be performed: Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in tax compliance, preferably within a global network of professional services firms, including consolidated filers with multinational and multistate operations. Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success, preferably within a global network of professional services firms, in the following areas: - Applying technical skills in completing and reviewing the following IRS tax forms: 1065/K1's, 1120, 1120-F, 1042, 1042S. 8865, 5471, 8858, 8621, 5472, Form 8886; - Completing applicable state and partnership tax returns; - Utilizing tax software engines such as GoSystems; and, - Researching, writing and consulting on various compliance tax matters.
