Role Summary: In this position, you will primarily act as an employee advocate and partner to our people leaders on all issues related to human resources. You should be a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions. Specific Scope/Client Groups: OFE client groups at Montrose site. Essential Responsibilities: + Providesupport and direction to employees and supervisors on HR fundamentalsincluding: talent development, performance management, talent section, rewards,employee relations issues, etc. + Providerecommendation on matters such as policies, employment law, employee relations,organizational design, performance issues, leadership, management practices,etc. + ConductHR training and support for functional processes like Performance Development(PD), Talent Reviews, Salary Planning and New Employee Orientation, etc. + Partnerwith Centers of Excellence to process transactional HR activities to ensuresuccess in core functional areas (staffing and recruiting, HR operations, OTDinitiatives, etc.). + Addressemployee relations issues and ensure concerns are properly identified, reported& resolved + Ensureconsistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment + Provideand review data as required to support HR activities (organization fitnessdesign metrics) in core functional areas (retention, span and layerscompliance, diversity, etc.). Qualifications/Requirements: + High School Diploma/GED from anaccredited school/institution + Some relevant workexperience. + Travel 10% of the time + Legal Authorization to work in UK, isrequired Desired Characteristics: + Organizational and interpersonal skills combined with strong driveto create a positive work environment + Exposure to working in complex, matrix, goal-driven organizations + Awareness of business landscape, including key activities,products/services, revenue creation and how HR solutions impact businessinitiatives. + Experience in change management + Internal and external customer service focus experience + Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills + Familiarity with HRIS and processing of transactional HRactivities + Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Pointskills Locations: Montrose, UK Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
